Hay días especiales en una clase de educación infantil y hoy ha sido uno de ellos. Uno de esos días en el que el duende del cante y el baile se apodera de nosotros y no podemos dejar de cantar y bailar. Y es que hoy hemos tenido, de la mano de la maestra Rocío, una sesión de música muy original: UNA SESIÓN DE FLAMENCO.
Utilizando como motivación el cuento "¡¡Olé sardina!!" ,de Javier Fonseca (texto), Issa Gallego (ilustraciones) y José Miguel Garzón (p. musical), la maestra nos ha ido narrando la historia de Teo, el gato que vivía en el barrio "del Quejío", donde todos los vecinos saben cantar, palmear y bailar. Y mientras nos ha ido contando la historia de amor que surgió con "Estrella la Mora" hemos aprendido bailar y a tocar las palmas al compás, por ejemplo, de unas alegrías.
En “¡¡Ole Sardina!!” se aborda el flamenco a partir de una simpática historia en la que se pueden trabajar valores como la confianza en uno mismo y el crecimiento personal o superación, a través de las situaciones cotidianas que viven estos gatos humanizados.
En el aspecto musical, el libro (que viene acompañado de un cd) ha contado con la fabulosa colaboración de Estrella Morente e Israel Fernández en un intento de acercar a los niños y mayores al mundo del flamenco.
El libro está editado por Sieteleguas, dentro de su colección Notas y Letra.

Fantástica esta flamenco sesión. Para mí, esta música tiene una energía muy especial, y hacérsela llegar a los niños y niñas tan pequeños, y proponerles que se enganchen a su ritmo, me parece un regalazo.
Si el libro tiene buena pinta, el CD aún lo hace más tentador.
